8 × CS43198 DAC

The X8 features eight Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips in a true dual-mono parallel architecture, with four DACs operating in parallel per channel. Left and right channels are fully independent in power supply, circuit layout, and signal path, minimizing crosstalk and interference.

 

The parallel analog outputs are precisely summed to reduce noise and improve dynamic range, signal-to-noise ratio, and low-level detail, resulting in stable imaging and clear spatial presentation.

 

A dedicated high-speed data buffering and distribution circuit ensures all DACs operate within the same reference clock domain, maintaining precise synchronization and preventing timing mismatch.

 

DAC Dedicated Shielding

Each of the eight CS43198 DACs is equipped with a custom shielding cover, which isolates the DACs from digital circuitry and high-frequency interference while assisting heat dissipation and thermal balance. This design reduces noise and jitter, ensuring stable and consistent performance during long-term,
high-resolution playback.

 

Digital Audio Core

The DigitalAudio Core in the X8 is a high-performance processing module deeply customizedby Luxsin and the first of its kind to be applied in a professional audio product. Built on a dual-core HiFi-5 DSP and ARM STAR architecture, with large on-chip SRAM and a DSP operating at over 500 MHz, it delivers the computational headroom required for complex real-time audio processing and advanced tuning algorithms. Its scalable design also enables edge-level AI audio processing, equipping the X8 with strong digital audio capabilities and long-term potential for continuous feature expansion.

 

HP-EQ System

HP-EQ is Luxsin's proprietary acoustic technology that performs hardware level EQ calibration, aligning your headphones' frequecy response precisely with the Harman curve or other preset target curves, unlocking multiple "personalities" from a single pair of headphones. With a growing database of over 2.500 headphone models, HP EQ delivers accurate, personalized audio matching for every listener.

Variable Linear Power Supply

Adopts a fully separated linear power supply, with digital and analog circuits independently powered. This design isolates noise coupling and interference between circuits from the source, significantly enhancing sonic purity, background darkness, and laying a stable, clean power foundation for overall sound quality. The system integrates multiple voltage and current monitoring sensors for real-time power supervision. It also supports an adjustable dual analog voltage design (12V and 15V), further improving the flexibility and controllability of the power system.

 

Upgraded Output Power

The X8 employs a optimized headphone amplifier design using multiple OPA1612 op-amps and TPA6120A2 high-current drivers to independently drive each channel, delivering a powerful output of L+R ≥ 4800 mV + 4800 mV with extremely low distortion and high linearity. It effortlessly drives even the most demanding flagship headphones, offering strong dynamics, fast transients, and precise detail retrieval.

 

Impedance Detection

The upgraded headphone impedance detection system now covers all output interfaces (XLR4,4.4mm, and 6.35mm)  enabling precise impedance auto-detection and automatic matching of the optimal gain setting. UtilizingLuxsin’s proprietary bypass detection technology, the system operates completely isolated from the main audio path, guaranteeing absolutely no impact on sound purity. Users enjoy both accurate impedance matching with smart gain adjustment and uncompromised high‑fidelity audio quality.

 

User Settings Memory

Automatically saves independent settings for each output port, including key parameters such as volume, PEQ, sound effects, and crossfeed. When switching outputs, the system instantly recalls the corresponding configuration, eliminating the need for readjustment and delivering a true plug-and-play experience.

 

Luxsin Controller

The X8 supports multiple flexible and convenient control methods, including mobile device apps (Android/iOS), computer web‑based control (Windows/macOS), and an optional IR remote (sold separately). The device firmware supports both local and online updates, ensuring continuous optimization and an ever‑evolving user experience.

 

Signature Exterior Design

The X8 continues Luxsin’s classic design language, featuring a 4.0‑inch 1080P (960×480) full‑color touchscreen that delivers sharp, detailed visuals and a
smooth, intuitive user experience. Its front panel is tilted at a 15° ergonomic angle, enhancing visibility and ease of operation in daily use. Crafted from a
solid CNC‑machined aluminum chassis, it offers both premium tactile feedback and exceptional thermal dissipation.

 

Versatile Connections

The X8 is equipped with a range of digital audio input interfaces. including USB‑B/C, Optical, Coaxial, and IIS, to accommodate various source devices. The IIS input supports up to eight custom configurations, ensuring compatibility with multi‑type digital sources from different brands. It also features 12V Trigger in/out terminals, enabling seamless integration into existing audio systems for smoother device synchronization and automated control, making the entire system easier and more efficient to operate.
