The Reference 1 K - the current flagship of our Reference K family! The best speaker we have ever built - we are mighty proud of that. With this imposing and at the same time noble floorstanding speaker you make a statement in your home. Your performance is as serene as it is self-confident in all nuances of sound and at all levels. In order to meet even the most extreme dynamic demands, the 3-way bass reflex speaker is equipped with our best drivers: the powerful 308 mm woofers with aluminum-ceramic tungsten cones provide in the double pack for incomparable dynamics with unbridled drive and enormous low frequency response. With the large cabinet volume behind it and the new "Bass-Guide" bass reflex system, the Reference 1 K delivers truly impressive low-frequency reproduction down to below 20 Hertz. However, thanks to the low-loss wave surrounds that sandwich the midrange and woofer, and the superbly resolving ceramic tweeter, the Reference 1 K shine with excellent fine dynamics even at low volumes. The acoustically optimized cabinets with their characteristic bow shape and organically curved side walls set standards in terms of radiation behavior, stability and low resonance.
