Upgrades from the CXN100 include the addition of HDMI eARC for easy TV connectivity, Bluetooth aptX HD for seamless high-resolution wireless streaming from devices like Cambridge Audio’s Alva turntables, and a 25% larger color display for enhanced clarity. This is all wrapped in a sleek new design featuring thicker casework, a machined aluminum front panel, and a beautifully knurled control knob.

At the heart of the EXN100 is the ESS ES9028Q2M SABRE32 Reference DAC, capable of handling digital inputs up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and DSD 512. Its outstanding dynamic range and ultra-low distortion ensure crystal-clear sound reproduction. Significant enhancements to the post-DAC analogue stage further refine the performance, with carefully selected components delivering greater clarity and separation.

Built on the 4th generation of StreamMagic, Cambridge Audio’s industry-leading streaming platform, the EXN100 offers seamless, stable streaming across a vast array of services and formats. Stream directly from Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Deezer, Qobuz, Roon Ready, UPnP, and Internet Radio, with support for hi-res audio over Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or USB Audio. Because Cambridge develops and maintains the StreamMagic platform in-house, new features and services are continually added for enhanced functionality.

Digital connectivity is more flexible than ever with options for USB, Coaxial, TOSLINK, or wireless connections through Chromecast, AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth aptX HD—perfect for high-res wireless streaming from an Alva turntable. Plus, with HDMI eARC, connecting your TV for immersive sound from shows, movies, and games has never been easier.

EXN100 is fully compatible with multi-room systems like Google Home, Apple AirPlay, and Roon, making it effortless to share music throughout your home. For high-quality analogue output, both stereo RCA and balanced XLR options are available.

COMPLETE CONTROL

As with all Cambridge music streamers, the EXN100 is fully controllable via the intuitive StreamMagic app, allowing easy operation from the comfort of your armchair. It can also be operated with the new EX Series system remote, which is included with the EXA100 and available separately from cambridgeaudio.com.

On the front panel of the EXN100, a high-resolution 1280x720 color screen offers a 25% increase in size and resolution over the CXN100, displaying album artwork clearly from across the room.

With its wide range of connections and the versatility of StreamMagic, the EXN100 is a powerful addition to any system. Activate Preamp Mode to use the EXN100 as a digital control hub, with volume control via the StreamMagic app, EX remote, or the front-mounted rotary dial.

When paired with the EXA100 stereo integrated amplifier, which features a dedicated Power Amp Mode, the two devices work in perfect harmony, delivering an ideal balance of power and precision.
