Legendary Technics sound and timeless design
The SL-1500C features a simplistic, timeless design without unnecessary frills, while retaining the superb operating feel that is a Technics tradition.

The attractive exterior combines high-grade materials, precise construction, and expert craftsmanship to create an eye-catching centrepiece to complete the modern music lover’s perfect listening environment.

Easy, ready-to-go connection to various components thanks to the built-in Phono Equaliser and Cartridge
The SL-1500C is a complete turntable solution. It features built-in phono equaliser and bundled cartridge.

There is no need to separately prepare either one, making it easy to link with a wide range of audio equipment, so you can enjoy listening to your analogue records immediately.

Precise, stable synchronisation and powerful drive torque to prevent vibrations
In 1970, Technics revolutionised the turntable industry with the world's first direct drive system. Unlike traditional belt drive setups, our direct drive system minimize motor-induced vibrations, ensuring an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio and long-term reliability without the need for frequent part replacements.

As an essential component for preventing vibrations, the chassis of the SL-1500C has a housing construction like that of high-end turntables. The result is a reproduction of the music in its full beauty and authenticity.

Automatic tone arm lift function to avoid wear and tear of your records and the cartridge
When the tonearm reaches the end of the record, the Auto Lifter function automatically raises the cartridge. This prevents unnecessary wear on your valuable vinyl records and stylus.

By embedding the Auto Lifter function in the base portion of the tonearm, it eliminates direct impacts to the tonearm. Due to a simple design that doesn’t use motor power, the functions required to playback records were kept to a bare minimum, achieving simple and easy-to-use operability.

High quality Ortofon 2M RED cartridge
Ortofon’s highly acclaimed MM cartridge has been selected for high sound fidelity and more dynamic playback.

Combining this high-quality cartridge with the performance of the SL-1500C will maximise the sound quality of your vinyl records providing you with audiophile listening pleasure.
