In a horizontal D'Appolito arrangement, the two powerful 174 mm woofer and bass-midrange drivers in the bass-reflex cabinet provide powerful and precise bass as well as neutral and clearly structured mid-range. The perfect complement comes from our brilliant 25 mm aluminum manganese dome tweeter, which is a proven guarantor of euphony with its detailed and superbly resolved treble reproduction. Thanks to the two-and-a-half-way design principle, the center delivers a balanced frequency response with excellent dispersion characteristics for your home theater: from 26 to 40,000 Hertz, the Ergo 655 Center is in its element. The loudspeaker is very solidly built, has multiple bracing on the inside and is equipped with high-quality internal cabling. The sound of the Ergo 655 Center is finely tuned by selected crossover components and the strategically placed damping of the housing. All these measures make the 53 centimeter wide, 20.5 centimeter high and 28.5 centimeter deep center speaker a confidence-inspiring 13 kilograms.
