The Alpha Pro is Panamorph's largest lens for the largest projector beam sizes and comes in either the CDR (Consumer Display Resolution – 3840×2160) or DCR (Digital Cinema Resolution – 4096×2160) versions. The two lenses look identical but are optimized for those particular resolutions. In other words, in general, 16:9 projectors should use the Alpha Pro CDR while 17:9 projectors should use the Alpha Pro DCR. Because of their large size, Alpha Pro lenses work with just about any anamorphic-compatible projector.
Remember that the Alpha Pro CDR increases the image width by 10% wand the Alpha Pro DCR increases the image width by about 7%, so please factor that into your theater calculations.
